Faith— Moving forward when God knows the answer and you don’t.
There are times in my journey when God has given me a Faith prompt… Early on I was asked to go on a Missions trip to Kenya. The Faith prompt, From the outside view it was a terrible time to go, business was slow and we were talking about closing our office. I had to really pray about it. It was short notice. The next weekend there was a Men’s retreat I was going on with the Church. God placed me in contact with a gentleman that had been on Mission trips and we began to talk. He asked why not just say YES…. and I realized God was asking me to go on Faith. I did end up saying yes and less than 4 weeks later I was on a plane to Kenya. Miracles— funds raised in 2 weeks. Passport in one day—- that’s another story.
It was what I call messy Faith. I wanted to believe that I would be a disciple that would just get out of the boat and walk on the water to Christ when He asked. The reality was more like slowly climbing over the rail facing the boat holding on, so I could jump back in, lowering one foot, test the water to make sure it would hold my weight then the feeling of walking on a 4 inch balance beam trying not to be splashed by the waves into the water. Messy Faith, full of my fears, the unknown, my efforts, distracted by the cold waves. For a long time that’s what I had, a 4 inch wide balance beam of Faith. Until God put deep into my heart and said “ It’s only 4 inches because that’s how wide I had built it. WOW! He said I could have a Sidewalk to walk on if I built it that way, slowly intentionally, stepping where I didnt see the balance beam but stepping ( with God) wider than the balance beam and trusting Him. Faith is built and fortified over time, and yes it’s scary and sometimes messy. Saying yes when God prompts you, baby step after baby step.
Forgiveness can be a difficult and challenging process, but it is also incredibly powerful. By letting go of anger and resentment, we can free ourselves from anchors that we carry, and truely create more space in our hearts for God to occupy. We forgive because God has forgiven us. He equips us with His power to forgive. If we only forgive because we FEEL like it …. then it most likely is not going to happen. “ …. and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us “. Sound familiar?
Not an easy thing to do, but verrrry necessary.
Gratitude is a powerful emotion that can shift our perspective and help us find joy in even the smallest things. Scripture says to “ Give thanks IN all circumstances“. Not FOR all circumstances. God is way more concerned about our heart, our attitude, than the circumstances. Did you wake up today? Give thanks. Did you breathe? Give thanks. Did you open your eyes? Give thanks. So many basic things we take for granted but are a gift from God. He created my lungs, my nostrils, my eyes…. And the list goes on and on. I can’t take credit for any of that…… can you???
Taking care of ourselves is essential for our physical, emotional, and spiritual health. This can include practices such as exercise, healthy eating, and self-reflection.
Connection with others is essential for our well-being.

At Pneuma Strong, we believe in God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Pneuma). The Trinity. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Faith in God is a personal trust and relationship with God, whereas religion is more about the structured framework for communal worship and beliefs. You can be very religious but have no Faith.
